THE BEGINNING…

… The story begins with the foothills of The Himalays along with the river Ganges a place named Rishikesh, a small peaceful and spiritual Indian town. The Legend says that this is the place where the sacred River Ganga descends from its long rocky journey through Himalayan terrains of Gangotri. It is believed that Lord Rama did his penance here on the advice of Saga Vashistha to kill the demand king Ravana. His younger brother Laxman (Lakshman) could not cross barefooted the fast flowing river so he arranged a long rope to cross the river, the mechanism of crossing the river later on became famous for "Laxman Jhoola". Rishikesh houses a large varieties of legends from Indian mythology and contribute the World heritage that attracts large number of population round the year from India and abroad to have a glimpse and stay and carry a lifetime memory…

ENVIRONMENT… the most attractive feature…

Rishikesh is very famouse tourism due to its location in the foothills of Himalays and by default exhibits a comfortable climate round the year. Although recently the town has started becoming uncomfortably hot during May and June and it is observed that high temperature days are followed by a shower which lowers the temperature to a comfort zone. This cycle continues for full high summer duration (MayJune). Then comes monsoon with a welcome relief from heat of summer. The much awaited rain brings with it joy. The preached earth greets the showers with gratitude. Monsoon season is followed by a winter , which can be considered as the best season to visit this place.
