New Tehri
New Tehri is located at a distance of 40 km. from Astraal. A day trip can be organized for adventurous tourists who love to explore the real adventure in life. It is a modern town now spread over an altitude from 1,550 mts. to 1,950 mts above sea level, overlooking the gigantic lake and the Tehri dam. In fact, the USP of New Tehri is this lake and dam. Tourists come to New Tehri to see the Tehri Dam which is one of the World’s largest hydroelectric projects harnessing waters of two important rivers of the Himalayas namely Bhagirathi and Bhilangana. And the Tehri lake provides a hundred opportunities to the adventure lovers who love to throw caution to the winds.
Many water sports have been started in Tehri lake, like motor boating, jet skiing, Banana boating etc. It is just at a distance of 70 mins. from Astraal. All water sports are of the level of Andaman and Goa. Clients should visit Astraal Resorts and Spa and should touch this untouched, new, offbeat tourist location.

Kunjapuri Temple
Kunjapuri is located at a distance of 10 Kms from Astraal. The Temple is positioned at a height of 1645 meters and lends a panoramic sight of the Himalayan peaks to the North and Rishikesh, Haridwar and the Doon valley to the South. Travelling towards Gangotri, about 6 kilometers from Narendra Nagar the road bifurcates at Hindola Khal, leading to the shrine, which is 5 kilometers further. Kunjapuri is temple of Goddess Durga , as it being one of the thirteen Shakti Peethas (Power Centers) in ShivalikRange and one of the three Shakti Peethas in Tehri district established by Jagadguru Shankaracharya. Other two Shakti Peethas in the district are Surkanda Devi and Chandrabadni. Kunjapuri, along with these two peethas form a holy triangle. Char Dham pilgrims pay visit to Kunjapuri temple on their way from Rishikesh to Gangotri.
One can witness excellent sunrise or sun set on the Greater Hiamalayan Peaks and the vast Indo Gangetic plains .
Early morning, a visit can be organized to Kunjapuri temple (00:30hrs Drive) trek 150 steps one side to enjoy the Himalaya view with the Sun rise.

Bemunda Falls
Bemunda Falls is located at a distance of 5 Kms. from Astraal. It is a beautiful picnic spot maintained by the forest department where water falls from a natural spring. A day picnic can be organized at the spot.

Dhanaulti
Dhanaulti is at a distance of 25 kms. from Astraal on Mussoorie Chamba Road.
Dhanolti is a beautiful Himalayan town, located amidst thick Pine, Cedar, and Rhododendron forest, excellent weather round the year and great view of snow capped Himalayan peaks. Warm peace and warmth of hospitable people welcomes you at Dhanolti.
A quieter and less commercialised neighbourhood of Queen of Hills – Mussoorie, Dhanolti (Dhanaulti) has evolved as one of the top preferred offbeat holiday getaway around Delhi. One can enjoy zip line and beauty in Dhanaulti Eco park.

Kanatal
Surkunda Devi is a temple in Kanatal, dedicated to Sati Ji. Kanatal is where Shankar Ji brought her dead body on his trishul from Haridwar. Located at a height of 9995 feet, you get a 360-degree view from the top of the temple. This temple is 8 km on the road to Mussoorie to Kaddukhal. One has to trek 2 km on foot to the little temple. Ponies are available.
The temperature here hovers between 10-20 degrees Celsius in summers. In winters, it presents a mesmerizing sight of snow carpeted grounds and trees presenting a white wonderland& temperature lies in between 5-10 degrees.
The location experience heavy snow fall blocking roads in winters. Due to high altitude the place unpredictably faces high winds

Rishikesh
Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation. Temples and ashrams (centers for spiritual studies) line the eastern bank around Swarg Ashram, a traffic-free, alcohol-free and vegetarian enclave upstream from Rishikesh town.
